The Haunted Antiques Museum (HAPRC) is situated on Regent Street, the oldest street in Hinckley which dates back to the 13th Century. The building itself was constructed in the 19th Century, and features timber beams dated as 16th Century.

 

In February 2018, a new and unique building opened its doors to the people of Hinckley, the people of the UK and to tourists from across the world; Haunted Antiques Paranormal Research Centre. This was the first museum of its kind where all the objects and artefacts on display are believed to be haunted by spirits of the past. And the best part is that most of everything on display isn't hidden behind glass or cabinets, and all visitors are encouraged to pick up, use and sit in these items to see what energies they can sense and connect with.

 

The museum became so intriguing and popular, that in that same year, the owner Neil Packer was invited onto ITV's This Morning to showcase some of his haunted items collection.

The Haunted Antiques Museum (HAPRC) is not just a haunted building, but houses lots of haunted artefacts all with varying stories to tell and truths to be revealed.

 

Many visitors have had unsettling encounters with various objects, including a voodoo doll that glares menacingly from its glass dome and a sinister clown that smirks from its shelf. This same clown has even been captured on CCTV moving on its own.

 

One of our team members Viv was featured in a episode of the tv show Unexplained: Caught On Camera, where her segment was based on her experience and a photo captured inside the Haunted Antiques Museum. The photo showed this alien-like creature staring at her from inside a mirror on the wall, something so terrifying and never seen before.

 

A Victorian pram has also been seen being pushed by its phantom owner, with the eerie activity caught on camera. There's also the mystery of the bottles said to trap evil demons that could be released if opened. A seemingly sweet portrait of a Victorian girl on the wall reveals a disturbing truth upon closer inspection; she's actually dead.

 

The rooms are filled with such artefacts, each with its own dark story to tell. You'll be encouraged to not only spend time with these objects, but also to touch or hold them, using your senses and paranormal detection equipment to uncover who or what might be attached to them. Your Ghost Hunt experience is a test to learning and unravelling the secrets the Haunted Antiques Museum holds.

PARKING AT EVENT: There is no car park on site. Local street parking and nearby car parks available. Parking charges may apply.

 

REMAINING BALANCE: Needs to be paid FOUR WEEKS prior to the event date. Failure to pay your remaining balance before this deadline will result in you forfeiting your places and your places will be sold on.

 

WHAT TO BRING: A torch, a warm coat/jacket, sensible footwear, any equipment you wish to bring along (your responsibility), your positive and open-minded energies.
